Appointed to the Hawaii Workforce Development Council

Mark Phongsavath continues to deliver for our members and our future.

Recently appointed to the Workforce Development Council, Mark will be working alongside community and industry stakeholders to ensure our workforce is trained, prepared, and positioned to meet the evolving needs of the electrical industry. This means more opportunities, stronger careers, and a pipeline that keeps union labor leading the way.

As our Lead Organizer, Mark has already proven what that looks like in action—organizing over a dozen new companies into the union and bringing nearly 100 electricians out of non-union shops and into the brotherhood.
This is how we grow. This is how we protect standards. This is how we build power.
